The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as a Control Room Operator in Johannesburg, Gauteng. - Knowledge of security management in public sector administration (MISS & MPSS documents).
- Demonstrable competency in acting independently, professionally, accountably, and with credibility.

- Good report writing skills and ability to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
The Control Room Operator will be responsible for a range of duties, including:
- Operating control room security and emergency systems to ensure the safety of the premises.
- Controlling cameras through the CCTV system to monitor and safeguard facilities.
- Identifying and recording all suspicious incidents.
- Safekeeping recorded information, backup footage, and access control records.
- Compiling detailed incident reports.
- Ensuring proper use of all control room systems.
- Identifying and reporting system faults and malfunctions.
- Monitoring scheduled maintenance and repairs to ensure effective system operation.
- Implementing access control and key control for NPA building facilities, including conducting key audits as required.
- Ensuring access control of the control room, including controlling entry and exit.
- Ensuring all relevant control room registers are complete.
- Responding to security emergencies, activating emergency systems, and reporting incidents immediately.
- Liaising effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
