Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum qualification: Degree (NQF 7)
  • South African citizen with a valid ID
  • Aged 18–35 (youth programme)
  • Currently unemployed and not on another funded programme
  • Clear criminal record
  • BEng/BSc Mining Engineering (completed)
  • Willing to relocate to Lephalale

Key Responsibilities

During this internship you will:

  • Supporting mine planning, scheduling and survey activities
  • Assisting with drill-and-blast and load-and-haul optimisation
  • Collecting and analysing production and dilution data
  • Contributing to safety and environmental compliance reporting
  • Completing a structured graduate development logbook

Stipend & Benefits

Successful candidates receive a monthly stipend of R9 000 – R12 000 / month for the duration of the programme, on-the-job mentorship, and a nationally recognised NQF Level 7 qualification on successful completion.
