Minimum Requirements
- Minimum qualification: Diploma (NQF 6)
- South African citizen with a valid ID
- Aged 18–35 (youth programme)
- Currently unemployed and not on another funded programme
- Clear criminal record
- National Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accounting or Public Finance
- Resident of eThekwini advantageous
Key Responsibilities
During this internship you will:
- Supporting budget preparation and expenditure monitoring
- Assisting with revenue and billing reconciliations
- Helping process supply-chain and payment documentation
- Preparing basic financial reports under supervision
- Completing the municipal internship logbook
Stipend & Benefits
Successful candidates receive a monthly stipend of R7 000 – R8 500 / month for the duration of the programme, on-the-job mentorship, and a nationally recognised NQF Level 6 qualification on successful completion.
