Eskom offers experiential-training internships at its Mpumalanga power stations for electrical engineering diplomates needing P1/P2 workplace experience to complete their qualification.

Key Responsibilities

During this internship you will:

Assisting with electrical maintenance and testing on generation plant
Supporting fault-finding on HV/LV distribution equipment under supervision
Preparing technical reports, drawings and maintenance records
Observing and applying Eskom plant safety and lock-out procedures
Completing logbook competencies signed off by registered engineers

Stipend & Benefits

Successful candidates receive a monthly stipend of R8 000 – R9 500 / month for the duration of the programme, on-the-job mentorship, and a nationally recognised NQF Level 6 qualification on successful completion.
