Opportunity Overview

The Clicks Group offers a Youth Employment Programme designed for unemployed young South Africans. This initiative provides a valuable opportunity to learn and gain practical work experience within the dynamic health and beauty retail sector.

Participants will engage in a structured programme that combines classroom learning with essential hands-on training in a retail store environment. Upon successfully completing the programme, individuals will be awarded an NQF 2 Checkout Operator occupational qualification, enhancing their employability in the retail industry.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a South African citizen.
  • Be between 18 and 29 years old.
  • Have successfully passed Grade 12 / Matric.
  • Be currently unemployed.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Be willing to learn and develop new skills.
  • Not be currently registered on any other Learnership or Skills Programme.

Key Responsibilities

Participants in the Youth Employment Programme will be involved in:

  • Learning and applying skills relevant to the health and beauty retail sector.
  • Engaging in practical on-the-job training within a retail store.
  • Developing competencies required for an NQF 2 Checkout Operator occupational qualification.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a retail team.
