Minimum Requirements
- Minimum qualification: Grade 12 / Matric
- South African citizen with a valid ID
- Aged 18–35 (youth programme)
- Currently unemployed and not on another funded programme
- Clear criminal record
- Grade 12 with Mathematics
- N2 in a relevant trade advantageous
Key Responsibilities
During this apprenticeship you will:
- Installing and maintaining water and sanitation systems
- Reading plumbing layouts and fitting pipework
- Performing leak testing and basic fault-finding
- Applying SANS plumbing standards and safety
- Completing trade theory and logbook hours toward the Trade Test
Stipend & Benefits
Successful candidates receive a monthly stipend of R4 500 – R6 000 / month for the duration of the programme, on-the-job mentorship, and a nationally recognised NQF Level 4 qualification on successful completion. On completion you will be eligible to write the relevant Trade Test to qualify as an artisan.
