SASSA — the South African Social Security Agency — administers the country's social grants through offices in every province. It recruits grants administrators, customer care and admin officers, and runs internships and work-integrated learning (WIL) placements for TVET students needing workplace hours to complete their qualifications. Because SASSA is a national government agency, applications follow public-service rules: official forms, reference numbers and strict closing dates. Be alert: SASSA's name is heavily abused by scammers. Real SASSA recruitment never happens over WhatsApp and never involves any payment at any stage.
